ABOUT SOUTHERN SOLACE CONFECTIONS

Give your eyes and taste buds a treat at Southern Solaces! Cooking and painting have long been passions and large parts of my life. Creating custom painted cookies that look beautiful and taste delicious allows me to pursue both passions. I operate as a cottage food bakery out of my home in Fort Worth, TX. State law requires I let you know I bake in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Texas Department of Health. I can assure you that every step is taken to ensure clean, sanitary conditions along with using quality ingredients. I look forward to making cookies for your next birthday, shower, engagement party, bachelorette party, tailgate, graduation, or special event.

ABOUT THE BAKER

Hi! I'm, Lauren Bridge, the owner, baker, and artist of Southern Solaces. Baking and painting have long been passions of mine. My love for baking and art began in toddlerhood. Whether it was making homemade bread and pies with my mom and grandmother or making my own paper dolls, I was happiest in the kitchen or creating art. Fast forward thirty-ish years and this Louisiana native has settled in Fort Worth, Texas. After having our daughter and leaving my job as a child life specialist in the NICU I found myself yearning for a creative outlet. A farmer's market 1st birthday celebration and an idea led me to this business. Southern Solaces embodies what I love - baking, painting, and creativity. I look forward to creating customized edible art for your next special occasion.
